Kroger Home Sense Review & Contest

*I received these items for free in exchange for my review. All opinions and statements are my own.

How many readers out there love brand name cleaning products but hate brand name prices? How many people shop at Kroger or live near a Kroger store? Well if you are one of those people, these are the products for you! I have tested every single item shown here and have posted my reviews below. AND THAT'S NOT ALL! You can enter to win a Free Full Size Mystery Item (one of the products) and discount coupons. One Grand Prize Winner will receive a full size product. Five runners up will receive coupons.

The first item up for review is Kroger Home Sense Extra Soft Paper Towels. These feel just like Viva paper towels, only they are much cheaper! Even though they are softer than what I normally use, I was still impressed. The absorbency is amazing, and they are strong when soaking wet. I give this product a 10 out of 10!

The second item I reviewed is the Kroger Home Sense Fabric Refresher Spray. I chose the Lavender scented one to test out. I enjoy the smell of lavender and it seems to set a relaxing mood in the house. I sprayed the curtains, throw pillows, blankets, shower curtains and just about everything with fabric in my teenage son's room. It does such a good job eliminating odors! Although it doesn't seem to last more than a couple of days. Either that or my family keeps stinking up the house. I give this product a 9 out of 10.

Number three is the Kroger Home Sense Disinfecting Wipes. The first thing I noticed was how sudsy they were. I'm not a big fan of lots of bubbles. They seemed to clean very well, but left a slight residue on my bathroom sinks. As for killing germs, I believe that it worked 100 percent because one of my children had a fever that thankfully didn't spread to the other two children. I give this product a 8 out of 10.

Fourth up is the Kroger Home Sense Advanced Clean Laundry Detergent. I chose the Island Nectar scent. I'm pretty sure this will be my favorite laundry detergent from now on. Before this week I was a huge Purex fan, but now I might switch for good. The Kroger laundry detergent cleans very well and smells fantastic! This product gets a 9 out of 10!

Last but not least is the Kroger Fabric Softener Sheets. Once again, I chose Island Nectar, to go along nicely with my laundry detergent. I'm not generally picky with my fabric softener, as long as it gets the job done, and my clothes still smell nice after a few days. I wasn't totally impressed with this one, because it didn't seem to hold on to the scent the way I thought it should. On the other hand it kept all my clothes static free. So I give this item a 7 out of 10.
