This Week's Product Reviews Highlights

I receive discounted items from different companies in exchange for my honest reviews. Here is a rundown of the some of the items I reviewed this past week.

Cucumber Melon Wax MeltsThese smell amazing!!! My whole house smells like melons. It's a very fresh and clean scent. These wax melts work in my scentsy wax warmer just fine. I used two melts at once, because I have a large house, and two of them make the scent go throughout the whole space. These are a little slippery, so be careful when you get them out. I also recommend maybe wearing gloves when handling these, because they can irritate your skin if you have sensitive skin. They melt mostly clear with a slight greenish blue tint, not a solid color like scentsy ones. One tip I've found helpful, is when you are done with the wax, turn off your warmer and use cotton balls to soak the wax up. This makes it easier to clean up the wax without having to tip it over and take the chance of spilling wax everywhere.

Best Orange Essential OilI really love essential oils and use them daily in my household. I got this brand of Sweet Orange essential oil to try out a few days ago. This smells so good, and kind of reminds me of the smell of orange tic tacs. I mainly use Orange oil for making my house smell nice and clean. Putting it in the oil diffuser with a little bit of lemon helps make it smell like I've been cleaning all day, even if I haven't had time to. It's great especially for using right before we have guests over. This brand is very good, and I love that it is organic. It's on my list of one of the top 5 best oil brands out there. I would definitely recommend it, because it is a perfect size to try out if you are just starting out using essential oils, or want a small bottle to take when you travel.

This is a large assortment of stickers. They are mostly for scrap-booking use, but there are also label-like stickers, etc. The smaller stickers are kind of hard to get off the sheet. Also, these don't feel very sticky on the back, so make sure you press down on them a little to make sure they adhere to the page. Otherwise, they work fine and the shiny ones are really pretty. This would be a great set to share with others if you don't scrapbook very often. It is easily a year's worth of stickers for me personally.

I really like this brand of dry erase markers! First of all they don't stink like the expo kind, which is awesome, because the strong odor of the other kind really gives me a headache. Second of all, it is really easy to erase when I'm done. I also like how they came in a little container that I can use to keep track of them all. They are very easy to take with me too. Dry erase markers are so versitile, and there are many different things you can do with them. You can leave notes on the bathroom mirror so you don't forget things, on the washing machine so you know not to put certain items in the dryer, and you can even let your kids draw on the windows. I would recommend this brand over the expo kind, because I believe they are safer for kids.

Earn More Swagbucks!

This is another installment of my Swagbucks Tutorial. Today I will focus on completing special offers. Special offers can be found under the Discover tab on the left-hand side of the main page.

The biggest thing to remember when doing these tasks is to keep track of everything you sign up for. Also, in order to get your points, you have to use the same email account that is associated with your Swagbucks account. There are three main types of special offers.
They are as follows:

1) Free Trials. You sign up for a 7-day or 30-day trial using your debit/credit card. Your card is not charged during this time. You have to make sure you cancel a day or two before your trial ends or you will be charged. I have found the best way to keep track is to write each trial on my calendar. For instance you can sign up for Rhapsody. It's a 30 day trial for about 200 Swagbucks. If you signed up today (the 19th) you would need to mark on your calendar to cancel on the 17th of next month. This ensures you have plenty of time to contact customer service, or log in to your account and get confirmation of cancellation.

2) Sign-up for Information. You can enter your personal information to request a free booklet, insurance quote, etc. Some offers ask for your phone number. They will call and text you if you give them this number, so if you don't want telemarketers calling, don't give it out. (I personally use my back up prepaid phone number for these sign-ups. I only use this phone for emergencies and I leave it off most of the time.) Sometimes when you sign up for the main part, it will ask you if you want to sign up for extra stuff. I always answer no. Even if it's 20 pages of offers I don't want. You are never required to sign up for anything you don't want.

3) Discount to Buy Stuff. I really like these kind of offers especially around Christmas time. A lot of times you can end up getting the item for free. For instance I just got a Kinsa thermometer through Swagbucks. I spent $15 of my own money and got $15 back from Swagbucks in the form of a Giftcard three days later. You can also sign up for subscription services for LootCrate, Birchbox, etc. You won't always get the stuff for free, but you can try it out at a large discount. Once again, make sure to cancel any reoccurring shipments before they are sent out the following month.

More Swagbucks Tips

I hope you are enjoying the Swagbucks posts I've been making. Today I will show you another easy way to make Swagbucks. If you haven't already signed up, you can do so here.

Today's post will be focusing on making money doing Surveys. The most important things to remember are: 1) Always be honest. 2) Take your time; don't rush. 3) Be patient. On average it takes me three or four tries to get accepted into a survey.

On average you can make about 50 Swagbucks for each survey, and the average survey time is 20 minutes. I have been doing a lot of surveys lately to help boost my Swagbuck amount. Last month I earned $85 in Amazon and Walmart giftcards!

There are three main places you can go on Swagbucks to do surveys. They are all listed under the "Answers" tab on the main page. They are: Gold Surveys, Partner Surveys and Peanut Lab surveys.

Next time I will let tell you about how to earn Swagbucks by completing special offers without getting spammed and scammed. Stay tuned!
