Get all your Christmas Presents for FREE

Short on money this year? Hate to get out in the cold? Have a little bit of spare time and patience? Well if you do, I can show you how to get all your Christmas presents FREE. This will be the first of 2 posts on how to save this season! And if you get started now, it won't be too late!

Part 1

Swagbucks! You are probably asking what in the world is Swagbucks? It is only the best kept secret in earning points or "Swagbucks" for real bucks in the form of Amazon, Walmart, iTunes giftcards and THOUSANDS more gifts! I just earned $10 in Amazon cards this week. Here's how!

First sign up! Preferably with an email address you check often. Occasionally they will send you bonus emails with earning potential. And on your birthday you will get free Swagbucks. I got 100 of them in my birthday email!

Secondly, search using their search engine. Its a lot like Google or Yahoo, only you get points! You can even make it your homepage to remind you to use it! If a little box pops up after you search, then you won points! (It will have you type a few letters or numbers to verify you are human, by the way.)

Third, is the 'secret code' method. At least once a day, sometimes several times a day, there will be a code you can enter in the Swag Code box on the top of the page (Hover your mouse over the circle for the entry box to drop down). I try to post all these code on my Facebook page when they go live, because they only are valid for one hour! But there is a lovely group of people who have a site JUST for Swag codes. They offer FB, email or Twitter notifications.

Fourth, is the watch and earn. They have little videos to watch, some of them are really good! I have one reader who did nothing but play these videos on her computer all week and earned a $25 Amazon.com giftcard. (Secret Hint: You don't have to actually sit and watch the videos, just keep clicking on to the next one when the previous one is over.) For every 10 videos you "watch" you earn points. Once again the Swagbucks alert box pops up and you enter the captcha code to get your points. (This is one way I can calm my 4 year old down when she's upset. She loves the Zoo animals videos.)

Fifth, the Daily Poll. Answer a Question every day.

Sixth, Coupons! Print coupons (coupons.com coupons that you print through Swagbucks) and you can get 10 SB for each coupon redeemed! They have over 200 coupons available right now, so that is 2000 SB! (Note: It takes up 2 months to get all your points after you use the coupon at the store.)

Seventh, Free Games. Play simple little free games to earn points. I've found that I earn once every five games I play. (Make sure to do the free-play ones, not the ones that cost SBs!)

Eighth, Shop! If you do a lot of online shopping then go through Swagbucks first to earn SB! Walmart.com and Amazon.com offer 6-8 SB per dollar on certain items!

Ninth, Here is something to look for on your home page and its not always there, so keep an eye out. You can usually run this for about an hour and click a bunch and earn 80 Swagbucks. My friends and I call him the computer guy. And we send each other messages to see if we have seen him on a particular day, and if we "did the computer guy this morning". LOL

There are several more ways to earn, just be careful when signing up for free offers or taking surveys to earn SB from partners, sometimes you can get spammed, and I usually just steer clear of those offers.

The best part of all, is when you accumulate SB, you can go shopping at the Swagstore! It may seem like a lot of Bucks, but you will earn them in no time! Once you redeem a prize, you must confirm it and then it will take about 48-72 hours to get into your account. (I personally like Amazon, because when you spend $35 you can get free shipping.)

Stay tuned for the next two Christmas posts!
